This pendant was made from a beautiful beach stone that my husband and I found while taking a walk along the Chaleur Bay, here in beautiful Eastern Canada.
We tumbled the stone in our rock polisher and it turned it beautifully! The photograph does not do this stone justice; it's a beautiful green with light hues of peridot to almost yellowish green within the stone, which gives it lots of depth. To make this pendant, I used the Tiffany method with eco-friendly tin that I antiqued. To make it a bit different, I decided to add a small sterling silver tag to monogram with the letter of your choice.
To keep the tribal feel of this pendant, I added a black leather / suede cord that ties at the back. Read more about this necklace here. See more of my creations here.
