Kitty Cat Ring Stackable Rings
This is my latest creation: Stackable kitty cat rings - the head and the body are on different rings and put together they make... you guessed it... the cat!!
I came up with the idea this morning and with hours I had the thing made. I went from drawing it on paper, cutting out the body and head out of copper sheet (which I then worked and hammered), I welded the head and body to copper bands that I had previously prepared. I finished it all off with a copper wire tail (hammered and welded into place).
I love how the head fits over the body when you put the rings on.. This is probably the most whimsical piece I've ever done so far.
Whenever I think of cats, it's because of my daughter in law; she is a cat lover!!! I actually was thinking about her when I designed the rings.
Although I made these out of copper, I will also make a set in sterling silver and copper (the bands will be sterling and the cat will be in copper). I believe this will be awesome!!
Here is a picture of this whimsical project of mine. Get more info in my Etsy Shop.

Leather Moccasins for My Grand Daughter
I finished my grand daughter's moccasins! This was a long overdue project. Since my grand daughter is still quite young and doesn't necessarily fit in these yet, I didn't hurry too much!
I found the pattern for these on Etsy. I purchased the pattern from a lovely Etsy seller from Slovenia. I had to check on the world map to see where this country was. It's surrounded by Italy, Croatia and Austria. The seller is a pleasure to deal with. Click here to see more of her tutorials; they're delivered directly into your email after you've paid.
Once I had the pattern, I shopped for some fun colored leather and I found this wonderful leather shop here. This Etsy seller has an amazing array of beautifully colored and patterned leather pieces for your special project!
The last thing I needed was sinew. Because of the leather being pink and apple green, I didn't want your regular color sinew; it didn't look too good together, so I opted for some synthetic sinew, which is in fact a heavy, waxed thread. I chose the white because it was the only color that seemed to go with my project. It wasn't quite thick enough so I doubled the thread and that worked out great! This artificial sinew is very strong and is wonderful to work with. The seller uses it for baskets.
Every part of my little moccasins was hand sewn, which I really enjoyed doing while watching a movie. I finished the inside with a dark purple felt insole and an apple green ribbon with knotted tips as laces. I then added my special touch - my signature with love!

Modern Rustic Ring for Men
This is my latest ring design that I named: "Centered." I'm focusing on wide copper bands; a new collection for Men. The rustic look of textured copper covered in a beautiful antique patina contrasts beautifully with the aluminum, rectangular focal shape with dot at its center.
The aluminum is finished in a rugged, rustic look with a solid rivet attaching it to the main ring.
See more info and more rings by visiting my store.
